Web Panel Modules

1. Real-Time Status Deck

Provides a live look at system health, uptime, active WiFi clients, USB/IP daemon state, and all attached USB devices.

2. AP Hotspot Configuration

  • Network Name (SSID): Rename the standalone AP to anything you prefer (e.g. Tracktuned-GTR).
  • WiFi Password: Update the WPA2 passphrase (minimum 8 characters).
  • RF Channel Selector: Choose between Auto, or pin to clean channels 1, 6, or 11 to avoid noisy dyno hall interference.
  • Hidden Network: Toggle SSID broadcasting off for stealth in public paddocks.

3. Join Local WiFi (Station Mode)

Connect your Link to your home or workshop WiFi so you can access the car over your shop network while keeping internet connectivity:

  • Click Scan Networks to discover all 2.4GHz access points in range.
  • Select your network from the dropdown list and enter the password.
  • Leave "Always auto-connect to this network on startup" checked so the Link automatically locks in on power-up.
  • Click Join Network.
Live Tuning Guardrails: For safety during live engine dyno pulls, the WiFi scanner will automatically refuse to scan if an ECU is actively connected over USB/IP. Detach the device first to run a scan.

4. Over-The-Air Firmware Updates

The web panel allows seamless firmware flashing without needing USB cables or specialized programmers:

  • Navigate to the Advanced section.
  • Select a verified .bin sysupgrade image (or trigger automatic download from R2).
  • The on-device SHA-256 validator verifies file integrity before writing flash blocks.
  • Click Flash Firmware: the progress overlay guides you through the 60-second flashing and reboot cycle.
